What We Wire

Cabling, Security, and A/V—One Licensed Low Voltage Team.

Low voltage wiring is the nervous system of a modern building. Whether you are building new, retrofitting an office, or adding automation at home, every run is designed, installed, and documented to standard.

Structured Cabling

CAT6 + CAT6A + Fiber

Structured cabling installation for offices, new construction, and retrofits—voice and data drops, patch panels, backbone fiber, and network room buildouts, with every run tested, labeled, and documented.

Security & Surveillance

Cameras + Access + Sensors

Commercial security camera installation, access control, motion sensors, and video storage—connected protection for your people, assets, and property, on site or from anywhere.

A/V & Automation

Conference + Media + Smart Control

Conference room A/V, home theater and surround sound, TV mounting with concealed runs, and smart automation for lighting, climate, and entry—professionally wired and cleanly finished.

The Practice

Structured Cabling Installation, From Backbone to Endpoint.

Most cabling contractors pull wire and disappear. Boom Logic runs networks and security operations every day—so the cable plant we install is designed by the same engineers who will route traffic over it, and documented for whoever comes next.

Cabling + Connectivity

Network Cabling Installation

CAT5e, CAT6, and CAT6A drops for offices, warehouses, clinics, and campuses—patch panels dressed and labeled, racks grounded, and every termination certified end to end.

Fiber Backbone & Riser Runs

Single-mode and multimode fiber between floors, buildings, and network rooms—high-bandwidth backbone runs terminated, polished, and light-tested.

Wi-Fi & Access Point Wiring

Whole-building wireless coverage—PoE drops, access point mounting, and placement designed alongside Networking as a Service (NaaS) so signal reaches every corner that matters.

Demarc Extensions & Network Rooms

ISP demarc extensions, rack and cabinet buildouts, and disciplined cable management—professional routing for cable, fiber, or DSL handoffs.

Security + Access

Commercial Security Camera Installation

4K indoor and outdoor IP cameras with night vision and remote viewing from any device—coverage mapped to entrances, inventory, and blind spots.

Access Control Installation

RFID, keypad, biometric, and mobile-credential door entry—access control installation for offices, clinics, and multi-tenant buildings, with schedules and audit trails.

Video Storage & NVR Configuration

NVR and DVR systems sized to your retention needs, with mobile and desktop access—footage there when you need it, purged when you don’t.

Sensors, Alarms & Monitoring

Motion detectors, trigger-based lighting, and smart event logging—and for managed clients, security events can stream to our 24/7/365 Security Operations Center.

Voice + A/V + Automation

Voice Cabling & BoomTalk™ VoIP

Voice-ready CAT6 and analog-to-VoIP migrations—wiring, unified communications setup, and endpoint delivery for BoomTalk™ VoIP phone systems.

Conference Room A/V

Microphone arrays, video walls, smart displays, and sound calibration—boardrooms and huddle spaces where meetings start on time.

TV Mounting, Theater & Surround

Home theater design, surround sound, and TV mounting with fully concealed cable runs—immersive at home, polished at work.

Smart Building Automation

Automated lighting and dimming scenes, climate control and smart thermostats, and smart doorbells with two-way audio—voice or app control throughout.

Nonprofits & Community Organizations

Wired for the Mission.

A camera system that protects a food bank. Access control for a clinic handling patient data. A cable plant a grant auditor can actually trace. Boom Logic delivers low voltage and structured cabling for nonprofit organizations with donor data security, grant-compliance documentation, TechSoup registration, and Microsoft 365 nonprofit licensing built in. Qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations also join the Nonprofit IT Empowerment Program (NITEP) for pooled purchasing power.

How It Works

From Site Survey to Certification in Three Moves.

Survey

Every project starts with a free site survey—a walkthrough of rooms, pathways, riser and ceiling access, and your existing plant—followed by a design recommendation and a fixed-scope proposal covering materials, labor, and timeline. You keep the findings either way.

Install

Licensed technicians pull, terminate, and dress every run—scheduled around your business hours, with clean penetrations, fire-stopped pathways, and a job site left tidier than we found it.

Certify

Every drop is tested, labeled, and documented. You receive test results and as-built documentation on handoff—and if you want the network designed, monitored, and managed on top of the new plant, the same Boom Logic ecosystem takes it from there.

Questions

Structured Cabling Services, Answered.

How much does structured cabling installation cost?
Every building is different—drop counts, pathways, ceiling types, and permit requirements all move the number. After a free site survey, you receive a fixed-scope proposal covering materials, labor, and timeline, so the budget is settled before the first cable is pulled.
What is structured cabling?
Structured cabling is the standards-based approach to a building’s wiring: horizontal runs, backbone fiber, patch panels, and labeled terminations organized as one system—so data, voice, cameras, and Wi-Fi all ride an orderly plant instead of point-to-point spaghetti. It is what makes the next move, add, or change an hour of work instead of a weekend.
Do you test and certify your work?
Yes. Every drop is tested and labeled, and you receive test results plus as-built documentation on handoff. Work is performed by a licensed low voltage contractor, with permits and code requirements handled as part of the project—not left as your problem.
Do you manage the network after the cabling is done?
That is the difference. The cable plant can hand off to Networking as a Service (NaaS) for design, hardware, and day-to-day management, with security events streamed to the 24/7/365 Security Operations Center and Los Angeles IT support and helpdesk coverage Monday through Friday, 8 AM–6 PM Pacific.
Do nonprofits get special treatment on cabling and security projects?
Among IT companies for nonprofits in Los Angeles, Boom Logic is unusual in doing the physical layer too: cameras, access control, and cabling scoped for nonprofit budgets, with donor data security, grant-compliance documentation, TechSoup registration, and Microsoft 365 nonprofit licensing built in. Qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations can also join the Nonprofit IT Empowerment Program for pooled purchasing power.
