Travel & On-Site Visits

  • Remote support — no travel charge.
  • Los Angeles metro (within 30 miles of our Eagle Rock office) — flat $105 trip charge per visit, at any hour. Included for Boom 365 clients.
  • Beyond 30 miles in California, Nevada & Arizona — travel time at $105/hr (half the standard rate), plus mileage at the current IRS rate.
  • Overnight & fly-in visits, including Las Vegas — quoted in advance, with airfare, lodging, and meals passed through at cost.
  • Las Vegas Boom 365 clients — after onboarding, on-site visits from our Las Vegas partners include travel.
  • Outside California, Nevada & Arizona — on-site support through our MSP partners, quoted per job.
  • The clock starts on arrival — travel never counts toward the 1-hour minimum.

How much do managed IT services cost?
Boom 365 managed IT services pricing starts at $50 per user per month for User protection and $50 per endpoint per month for Endpoint protection. Complete bundles both from $85 per user, and the fully managed MSSP Pro and MSSP Enterprise plans start at $145 and $200 per user per month. Every rate drops automatically at 25, 50, 100, and 200 units, and the full volume table for each plan is shown above.
How does volume pricing work?
Every Boom 365 plan is priced by the number of users or endpoints you cover. As your account crosses each threshold — 25, 50, 100, and 200 units — the per-unit rate drops automatically for the whole account, so growing your team lowers your cost per seat.
Do Boom 365 plans have a contract or onboarding fee?
Managed plans run on a 12-month agreement that locks in your rate. A one-time onboarding fee — equal to one month of your subscription, with a $1,000 minimum — covers migration, documentation, and security setup. Sign a 2-year term and that onboarding fee is cut by 50%; commit to 3 years or more and it’s waived entirely.
What’s the difference between User, Endpoint, and Complete?
User protects your people and their email and SaaS accounts. Endpoint protects your devices — laptops, desktops, and servers. Complete bundles both in one plan. MSSP Pro and MSSP Enterprise add a fully managed 24/7 SOC, helpdesk, and advanced security on top.
What backup, email, and endpoint protection is included?
Every Boom 365 plan that covers endpoints — Endpoint, Complete, MSSP Pro, and MSSP Enterprise — includes CrowdStrike Falcon Complete MDR and Acronis endpoint backup with 500GB per endpoint, pooled across your account, and 1-year retention. Every plan that covers users — User, Complete, MSSP Pro, and MSSP Enterprise — includes Proofpoint Basic email protection and Keepit SaaS backup with 2TB per account. Optional upgrades: extra backup storage at $5 per 500GB per month, retention beyond one year quoted separately, Check Point email security at $3 per account per month, and CrowdStrike Falcon Spotlight vulnerability management at $4 per endpoint per month.
What are your hourly rates for break-fix IT support?
Break-fix work is billed at $210 per hour for scheduled jobs and work during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM Pacific). Emergency, unscheduled work during business hours is $315 per hour, after-hours and weekend work is $315 per hour, and holiday work is $420 per hour. Every rate carries a 1-hour minimum, then bills in 30-minute increments. Boom 365 clients with 10 or more managed endpoints pay less for scheduled work during business hours: User and Endpoint clients get 20% off, Complete clients get 30% off, and MSSP Pro and MSSP Enterprise include break-fix support during business hours, emergencies included. Do you charge for travel?
Remote support has no travel charge. On-site visits within 30 miles of our Eagle Rock office carry a flat $105 trip charge, included for Boom 365 clients. Beyond 30 miles in California, Nevada, and Arizona, travel time is billed at $105 per hour plus mileage at the current IRS rate. Overnight trips, including Las Vegas, are quoted in advance with airfare, lodging, and meals passed through at cost; after onboarding, Boom 365 clients in Las Vegas get on-site visits from our local partners with travel included. Do you offer nonprofit or volume discounts?
Yes. Eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits get an automatic 20% off Boom 365: MSSP Pro through the Nonprofit IT Empowerment Program (NITEP), with a 20 managed-endpoint minimum. On top of that, every plan already scales down in price by volume.
Can I mix plans or add other services?
Yes. You can combine User and Endpoint coverage, add CrowdStrike Falcon Spotlight (+$4 per endpoint), extra endpoint backup storage (+$5 per 500GB), or Check Point email security (+$3 per account), or layer in BoomTalk VoIP, managed cloud hosting, and BoomLight fiber — all delivered by one team on a single monthly invoice.
How much does Managed Shadow AI Security cost?
Managed Shadow AI Security is an add-on for Boom 365: Endpoint, Complete, and MSSP Pro, and it is included in MSSP Enterprise at no extra charge. On Acronis GenAI Protection it starts at $15 per user or endpoint per month and drops to $11 at 200+; on Microsoft Purview it starts at $20 and drops to $16, with any required Microsoft licensing billed separately. What counts as a user versus an endpoint?
A user is a person or mailbox you protect; an endpoint is a device such as a laptop, desktop, or server. Many organizations cover a different number of users than endpoints, which is why we price the two separately and let you combine them.

Organizations with 100 or more users land in the 100–199 or 200+ tier, where every plan’s per-user rate is at its lowest, and most choose Boom 365: MSSP Pro or MSSP Enterprise for a fully managed 24/7 SOC. If you have an internal IT team, those plans also pair with co-managed IT, and our managed security services hub covers the enterprise options. Either way, it’s quoted as one flat monthly rate on a 12-month term.
